About Victoria

Hi, I’m Victoria Allen-Raia — licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and lifelong believer in the body’s natural ability to heal.

My interest in acupuncture began with a dance injury. I was seeking relief, but what I discovered was something much more profound: a holistic, time-tested system that helped me reconnect with my body and restore balance on multiple levels. That experience changed the course of my life, and my career. In many ways, though, the path to this work began long before that injury.

Natural medicine is in my lineage. My grandfather was the village herbalist in his Colombian community, and my mother continued that tradition, raising us with herbs and home remedies for every sniffle, stomachache, and scrape. That early foundation eventually led me to formal study at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in NYC, where I trained in various acupuncture styles, graduating in 2007. I also completed a two-year course of studies in Chinese and Japanese Herbology in 2011.

In 2006, I completed advanced training at the Beijing Traditional Training Center of WFAS (World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies) and had the opportunity to study and observe in several hospitals throughout Beijing, China. Working alongside experienced practitioners in settings where traditional medicine is integrated into modern healthcare gave me a deeper appreciation for both the clinical strengths and cultural history of acupuncture.

In my treatments, I often integrate hands-on techniques such as Tui Na, Zero Balancing, and Craniosacral Therapy. These gentle, body-based modalities support the nervous system, release tension, and help patients settle more fully into a healing state. Each session is individualized, blending acupuncture with touch therapies when I feel they will be most helpful.

Today, I offer personalized care informed by years of study and real-world experience. Whatever you're seeking help for, my aim is to help you feel better and support your health in a meaningful, lasting way.
